Quality & Safety Summit - Local Champion - St. Paul's Hospital Healing Arts Program

The St. Paul's Hospital Healing Arts Program, featured as a Local Champion at the 2008 Quality & Safety Summit, is dedicated to strenghthening the community inside and out, and being a positive, supportive neighbour. Their presentation at the Summit showcased several programs that focused on quality of care initiatives for patients and their families, celebrating achievements in working with visual and musical arts. Through the Arts program, they have been able to honour the history of SPH's founders, live the mission, and support both the internal community of patients, families, and staff, and their external community, focusing on inner-city youth, the disadvantaged, and marginalized.
